Trip Reports
2006
Uganda
This trip was made up of 6 young men who camped in the village of Nsango. While there, they helped to build 1 church and to spend time evangelizing the community. Money was raised for another in Luubu village and built before the team's arrival. They saw the Lord work and bring close to 500 new souls to His Kingdom. Praise God! Here are a few pics....

Budapest
This was our first trip to Budapest, Hungary. The trip was mainly to scout and plan for taking a team the following year, but became a great opportunity to begin building relationships and ministering to college students. Two SalSaf board members went and setup a partnership with Campus Crusade for Christ. They also were able to plant seeds with some evangelism while on their scouting trip.
2007
Budapest
A team of 6 went and helped with Campus Crusade's Hungarian Harvest Project (BHHP), a week long campus outreach focusing on student evangelism. There are over 200 universities in Budapest alone. While there, the team was able to evangelize and share personal testimonies of the Lord's work in their lives. In addition to that, they were able to teach English during the week at local high schools. At the end of the week, Campus Crusade rents out a popular club for a final revival message. Unlike Uganda or Nicaragua, the souls here are hardened by their "knowledge" and it is difficult to see decisions made in just one week, however we believe there were close to 10 that made professions of faith.....VICTORY!! Here are just a few pics...

We had the opportunity to bring along women for the first time on a SalSaf trip!! I must praise the Lord because our girls were awesome camping out in the bush of Nkombe Village!! This trip we focused primarily on women and children's ministry, while spending some time evangelizing and showing the Jesus film. We also were blessed to have another church built as well. Check out the awesome slide show that our team member Chuck Pope did for us!!
